You fascinate me
Remember Bill Nye the Science Guy?? He always has had such amazing insight. I read a quote from him recently that said "Everyone you will ever meet knows something that you don't."
Wow - I like that! A lot. In this age of mobile technology, Google, Snopes, Wikipedia et al, it is easy to think that all you ever need is that long little box with the tiny magnifying glass at the end. That will help you learn about ANYTHING! And quickly too!
But don't forget the vast wealth of knowledge that lies within the people you interact with every single day. It doesn't take that much time to cultivate friendships. And with a little nurturing, soon you can start to see how others' experiences can enhance and compliment your skill sets and knowledge base. AND you've benefitted from face time and eye contact!
When the chips are down, it's relationships that are going to see you through. So go - enjoy your screen time. I certainly do! But leave time in your busy day to really connect with people...a bottomless treasure trove. One that gives back.
